Where are you from? Where did you go to school?
I am from Cumberland and I graduated from Greely. After high school I went to Roger Williams in Rhode Island and then got my master's degree at Lesley in Cambridge.
Share something about your family and/or pets.
I live in Portland with my husband, Bjorn. We just got married last July! We have one dog named Oshie. She is a husky mix from Louisiana who we love dearly. We are big hockey fans, so we named her after T.J. Oshie who plays for the Washington Capitals.
What makes you proud to be a member of the MSAD #51 community?
I feel proud to work alongside the amazing teachers at MIW! Their dedication, passion, and determination are inspiring. I am always learning something new!
When you are not in school, what can you be found doing?
When I am not in school you can find me on a trail walking my dog, reading a book, or spending time with my friends and family. In the summer I spend most of my time on Tripp Lake at my family’s camp. It is one of my favorite places to relax and recuperate.
What was your favorite class in school?
My experience as a student at Mabel I. really influenced my love of school. I was fortunate enough to have so many wonderful teachers along the way. If you are reading this and are one of those teachers - thank you!
